Warehouses are industrial properties designed specifically for the storage and handling of goods. Improved efficiencies are achieved through increased eave heights of 15m and even higher allowing for higher racking and improved use of space. Yard areas are now larger allowing for interlink and superlink truck articulation and access to warehouses, FM2 flooring in newer warehouses allows for higher racking through level floors.

Modern warehouses also boast sprinkler systems fed by pumps and tanks on site for improved fire protection. Cross dock warehouses cater more to courier type operations with plenty of doors on either side of the warehouse.
